NOTE
Makesure that the exterior mirrors arealways
folded out fully while driving. They could other-
wisevibrate.
If youare driving faster than 47 km/h, youcan no
longerfold in the exterior mirrors.
Folding Auto fold (where fitted)
Theexterior rear-view mirrors automatically un-
fold when the ignition is switched on or when
thevehicle doors areunlocked. Usethe [Fold
mirrorsinwhen locking] option under the [CON-
VENIENCE] menu of the Vehicle Information Dis-
play to specif

If the [Fold mirrors in when locking] option has
been activated in the Vehicle information dis-
play:
The exterior mirrors fold in automatically as soon
as youlockthe vehicle from the outside.
The exteriormirrors foldout againautomaticallyas
soon as youunlockthe vehicle and then open the
driver’sorfront-passenger door.
NOTE
If the exteriormirrors have been folded in manually,
they do not fold out.
Exterior mirror pushed out of position
If an exterior mirror has been pushed out of po-
sition (forwards or backwards), proceed as fol-
lows:
Vehicles without electrically folding exterior mir-
rors: manually move the exterior mirror into the
correct position.
Vehicles with electrically foldingexterior mirrors:
pressand hold mirror-folding button

hear aclickand the mirror engages in positionau-
dibly The mirror housing is engaged again and you
canadjust the exterior mirrors as usual.
Parking position of the exterior mirror
on the front-passenger side
(where fitted)
The Parking position for the exterior mirror on
the front-passenger side function is only avail-
able if the vehicle is equipped with the Memory
package.

2. Switch the ignition switch to the ON position.

external mirror on the front-passenger side.
4. Engagereverse gear. The exterior mirror on
the front-passenger side moves to the preset
parking position.
5. Useadjustment button

3toadjust the exte-
rior mirror.You shouldsee therear wheel and
the kerb in the exterior mirror The parking
position is stored.
NOTE
If you shiftthe transmission to another position,
the exterior mirror on the front passenger side re-
turnstothe driving position.
