Air-recirculation mode is activated automati-

button is not lit. Outside air is added after
about 30 minutes.
Deactivating air recirculation mode:

NOTE
Air-recirculation mode is deactivated automatically:

After approximately five minutes at outside tem-
peraturesbelow approximately 7

After approximately five minutes if the “Cooling
with air dehumidification” functionis deactivated.

Afterapproximately 30 minutes at outside tem-
peratures above approximately 7

Cifthe cooling
with air dehumidification function is activated.
Residual heat function
It is possibletomakeuse of the residual heat of
theengine to continue heating the vehicle for
approximately 30 minutes after the engine has
been switched off.The heating time depends on
the set interior temperature.
NOTE
•
The blower will runatalowspeed regardlessof
the airflow setting.
•
If youactivate the residual heat function at high
temperatures, only the ventilation will be
activated. The blower runs at medium speed.
•
Youcannot usethe ventilation to cool the vehicle
interior to atemperature lower than the outside
temperature.
•
The ignition switch must be in the OFF position
when activating/deactivation the residual heat
function

SERVICING AIR CONDITIONER
WARNING
The air conditioner system containsrefrigerant under
high pressure.Toavoid personal injury, any air condi-
tioner service should be done only by an experienced
technician with the proper equipment.
Theair conditioner system in your vehicle is
charged with arefrigerant designed with the en-
vironment in mind.
Thisrefrigerant will not harm the earth’s ozone
layer.
Special chargingequipment and lubricant are
required when servicing your vehicle’s air con-
ditioner.Using improper refrigerants or lubri-
cants will causesevere damage to the air condi-
tioner system. (See
“Air conditioner system refrig-
erant and lubricant” in the “9. Technical information”
section
.)
An INFINITI Centre or qualified workshop will be
able to service your environmentally friendly air
conditioner system.
Air conditioner filter
The air conditioner system is equipped with an
air conditioner filter.Tomakesure the air condi-
tioner heats,defogs, and ventilates efficiently,
replacethe filter in accordancewith the speci-
fied maintenanceintervals listed in the sepa-
