Radio operation
Radio activation and band selection:
Push <RADIO> or selectthepreferred radio band
from the audio sourcelisttoturn on the radio.
Eachtime <RADIO> is pushed, the radio band
will change.

NOTE
When thestereo broadcastsignal is weak, the radio
will automatically changefrom stereo to monaural re-
ception.
Seeking stations:
Push <SEEK•TRACK> to tunefrom lowtohigh or
high to lowfrequencies and to stop at the next
broadcasting station.
Manual tuning:
To tunetothe preferred station manually,push
<TUNE•FOLDER> until the preferred station is se-
lected.
Manual presetting:
Up to six stationscan be registered foreachra-
dioband.
1. Select aradio band.
2. Tune to the station youwishtostore in the
preset list.
3. Touchand hold one of the preset numbers in
the preset list.
4. Information suchasthe frequency etc. will
be displayed on the preset list when the pre-
set is complete.

Radio controls
Touch[Control] onthe AM, FM, or DABscreen to
display the control screen.The followingcontrol
itemsare available.
FM/AM:
•
[StationList]
Touchtodisplay the availablestation list.
•
[TAInterrupt] (FM only) (where fitted):
Whenthisitem isturnedon, receivedTA (Traf-
fic Announcement) broadcasts will interrupt
the audio sourcethatisplaying. Thisitem is
available only in Audiomode.
•
[RDSInfo] (where fitted):
Touchtodisplay the RDSinformation when
FM radio is playing.
DAB(where fitted):
•
[Station List]:
Touchtodisplay the availablestation list.
•
[PTY List]:
Touchtodisplay the PTY (Programme Type)
list. Touchone of the item on the list to dis-
play theradio station whichbelongs to the
selected PTY.
•
[EPG]:
Touchtodisplay the EPG (Electronic
Programme Guide) list. If the selected item
on thelistisbroadcastatthe time, youcan
tunetothe station by touching [Listen] or
read informationbytouching [Details].
Some stations do notsupportEPG. Depend-
ing on the signal condition, acquiring and
updating the datamay take some time.
•
[TAInterrupt]:
Whenthisitem isturnedon, receivedTA (Traf-
fic Announcement) broadcasts will interrupt
the audio sourcethatisplaying.
•
[DAB Info]:
Touchtodisplay the DAB(Digital Audio
Broadcast) information. Information suchas
the song title and traffic information canbe
viewed viaDynamic Label Segment.
NOTE
“EAS” in “EAS test” (displayed on the screen as aPTY
name) is an abbreviation of “Emergency AlertSys-
tem”.
