GIVING VOICECOMMANDS
1. Push <
m
> located on the steering wheel.
2. Alistofcommands appears on the screen,
and the systemprovides avoicemenu
prompt.
When this screen is displayed, almost allof
the commands canberecognised. Available
commands foreachcategories canbeshown
on theright side of the screen. Highlight a
categorylisted in the left side of the screen
with the INFINITI controller to find your pre-
ferred command.
Selectingacategorybytouching the screen or
pushing <
m
/OK> will execute the command.
After executing thecategory command, only the
commands related to the selected categorycan
be recognised.

3. After the tone sounds and the icon on the
screen changes from
m
to
m
,speakacom-
mand. Youcan also select acommand by di-
rectly touching thescreen.
TheVoiceRecognition system will pauseopera-
tion when the INFINITI controller is moved. To
resume operation, push <
m
> on the steering
wheel.
4. Continue to follow the voicemenu prompts
andspeakafterthe tone soundsuntil thepre-
ferred operation is completed.
To cancel the voicecommand, push and hold
<
m
>.Voicecommands canalso be cancelled
by touching the display.
Youcan interrupt the voiceprompt at any time
by pushing <
m
>.
Operating tips
•
Speak acommand after the tone.
•
If the command is not accepted, the system
prompts youtospeak the command again. Repeat
the command in aclear voice.

To cancel the command, push and hold <
m
> on
the steering wheel.
•
By pushing <
m
> on the steering wheel, the
voiceprompt canbeinterrupted and avoice
command canbespoken without listening to
the voiceprompt tillthe end. Remember to
wait for the tone before speaking.

To adjust the volume of the system feedback, push
thevolume switch on the steering wheel or usethe
audio system <VOL/
m
> while the system is
making an announcement.
VoicePrompt Interrupt:

voiceprompt tillthe end. Remember to wait for
the tone before speaking.
How to see voicecommand screen
1.Push <

> to display the first screen of the
voicecommand list.
2. Speakacommand or select an item from the
vo

ommandlist.Thesecond screen
is
dis-
played.
3. Speak acommand. The list screen is
displayed.
4. Speak the preferred number from the list to
perform operation.
