are set properly on allfour tyres for the respective
operating conditions. The recommended tyre pres-
surescan be foundinthe tyre pressure placard on the
driver’ door pillar.

ON position.

pressure].
4. Press<OK> to confirm.
The vehicleinformation display shows the
currenttyre pressure foreach tyre orthe [Tyre
pressures will be displayed after afew min-
utes of driving] message.
If youwishtoconfirm the restart:

The[Tyre press. monitor restarted] message
appears in the vehicle information display.
Afteryou have driven for afew minutes, the
system checks whether the current tyre pres-
sures are within the specified rangeThe new
tyrepressuresare thenaccepted asreference
values and monitored
If you wish to cancel the restart:

Duetothe higher engine speeds, when the en-
gineiscold, extracaution must be exercised
whenselecting agearduring the engine warm-
up period after startingthe engine.

Loads and their distribution and the attachment
of equipment(coupling devices, roof baggage
carriers, etc.) will considerably changethe driv-
ing characteristicsofthe vehicle. Your driving
style and speed must be adjusted according to

DRIVING IN WET CONDITIONS

Avoid accelerating or stopping suddenly.

Avoidsharp turning or lane changing suddenly.

Avoidfollowingtoo close to the vehicle in front.
Whenwater covers the road surface with water
puddles, smallwater streams, etc., reduce
speedtoprevent aquaplaning whichcan cause
skidding and loss of control.Worn tyres will in-
creasethisrisk.
