WARNING
Neverremove the keyorturn the ignitionswitch to the
OFFpositionwhiledriving.The steeringwheelwilllock
and could causethe driver to lose control of the ve-
hicle. Thiscould result in serious vehicle damageor
personal injury.
CAUTION
Useelectrical accessories with the engine running to
avoid discharging the vehicle battery. If youmustuse
accessories while the engine is not running, do not
usethem for extended periods of time and do not use
multiple electrical accessories at the same time.
The switch includes an anti-theft steering lock
device.
STEERING LOCK
To lockthe steering wheel
1. Turn the keytothe OFF position.
2. Remove the keyfrom the ignition switch.
3. Turn the steering wheel 1/6 of aturn clock-
wisefrom the straight up position.
To unlockthe steering wheel
1. Insert the keyinto the ignition switch.
2. Gently turn the keywhile rotating the steer-
ingwheel slightly right and left.

OFF(Normal parking position)

Theignition keycan only be removed when in
this position.
Thesteering lockcan only be lockedinthisposi-
tion.
ACC(Accessories)/

The engine is turned off without locking the
steering wheel. Thisposition activates electri-
calaccessories, suchasthe radio, when the en-
gine is not running.
