CAUTION
•
Do not restyour footon theclutch pedalwhile driv-
ing. Thismay causeclutch damage.
•
Stop your vehicle completely before shifting into
theR(Reverse) position.
•
When youare shifting from one geartoanother,
be certain to depressthe clutch pedal allthe way
tothe floortoavoid clashing orchippingthe gears.
•
Avoid abrupt starts and acceleration for your
safety.
•
When quickacceleration is required for some rea-
son, shift to alower gearand accelerate until the
vehicle reaches the maximum speed in each gear.
Do notexceed the speed limitof anygear. Payspe-
cial attention when accelerating or when shifting
into alower gearonslipperysurfaces. Sudden ac-
celeration ordown shiftingcould causethe wheels
to skid and result in loss of control.

Only engagegearwhen the clutch pedal is de-
pressed.
•
When shifting to 5th and 6th gear, youmustpress
the shift lever to the right. Otherwise, youcould
shift unintentionally into 3rd or 4th gearand dam-
agethe engine or transmission.
