After operation
Dispose ofwaste oil and filter properly.Check

DRAINING WATER
Drainwaterinthe fuel filter according to the
maintenancelog shown in aseparate mainte-
nancebooklet.
If thewater-in-fuel-filter warning light

illu-
minateswhile the engineisrunning,there might
be water in the fuel filter.
The fuel filter is locatedonthe engine. INFINITI
recommends thatyoucontact an INFINITI Centre
or qualified workshop for servicing.
BLEEDING FUELSYSTEM
1.5L diesel engine
Thereisnoneed to perform any special opera-
tion to bleed air from the system.
2.2L diesel engine
Bleed air out of the fuel systemafter refilling an
empty fuel tank with the following procedure:
1.Place the ignition switch in the ON position
and wait 5seconds.
2. Placethe ignition switch in the OFF position.
3. Repeat the steps1and 2five or six times.
4. Crank the engine until it starts.Donot crank
the engine for more than 15 seconds.
5. If the engine doesnot start, stop cranking
andreturn to step 1above.

above procedures, see an INFINITI Centre or
qualifiedworkshop.
