Donotplaceanyobjectsonthesteeringwheelpad.
Do not placeany objects between the driver and
steeringwheelpad.Such objectsmaybecomedan-
gerousprojectilesand causeinjuryifasupplemen-
talair bag inflates.

Do not placeobjects with sharp edges on the seat.
Also,donot placeheavy objects on the seat that
will leave permanentimpressionsinthe seat.Such
objects candamagethe seat or automatic front-
passenger air bag detection system. Thiscan af-
fect the operation of the air bag system and result
in seriouspersonal injury.

Do not usewater or acidic cleaners (hot steam
cleaners) on the seat. Thiscan damagethe seat or
automatic front-passenger air bag detection sys-
tem. Thiscan also affect the operation of the air
bagsystem and result in serious personal injury.
•
Immediately after inflation, several supplemental
air bag system components will be hot. Do not
touch them: youmay severely burn yourself.
