•Ifthe <PASSENGER AIR BAG OFF> indicator lamp remainslit, the front-passenger seat maynot be used.
•Have the automatic front-passengerfront air bag deactivation system checkedassoon as possibleatanINFINITI Centre or qualified workshop.
The <PASSENGER AIR BAG
OFF> indicator lamp does
not light up and/or does
not stay on.
Thefront passenger seat is
empty,oroccupied by a
rearward-facing child
restraintsystem.
The automaticfront-passenger air bagdeactivation system is malfunctioning.
•Makesure there is nothing between the seat and the child restraint system.
•Makesure that the entire base of the child restraint system rests on theseatcushion of the front-passenger seat.
•When installing the child restraint system, make sure that the seat belt is tight.Donot pullthe seat belt tight with the front passenger seat adjust-
ment. Thiscould result in the seat belt and the child restraint system being pulled tootightly.
•Checkthatthe child restraint system is installedcorrectly.
•Makesure that no objects are applyingadditional weight to the seat.
•Ifthe <PASSENGER AIR BAG OFF> indicator lamp remainsoff and/or the <PASSENGER AIR BAG ON> indicator lamp lights up, do not installa
rearward-facing child restraint system on the front passenger seat.Itisrecommended that youfit the child restraint system to asuitable rear seat.
•Have the automatic front-passengerfront air bag deactivation system checkedassoon as possibleatanINFINITI Centre or qualified workshop.
