Lowtyre pressure warning:
If thevehicle is being driven with low tyre pres-
sure,the warning light will illuminate. Atyre
pressure warning messagealso appears in the
vehicle information display.
When the low tyre pressure warning light illumi-
nates, youshould stop and adjust the tyre pres-
sure of all4tyres to the recommended COLD
tyrepressure shown on the tyre placard located
on the driver side centre pillarsee

.Thelowtyre
pressure warning light does not automatically
turn off when the tyre pressure is adjusted. Af-
ter thetyre is inflatedto therecommended pres-
sure,thevehicle must be drivenatspeeds above

km/h (16 MPH) to activate the TPM

offthe low tyre pressure warning light. Usea
tyre pressure gauge to checkthe tyre pressure.
The low tyre pressure warning messageappears
each time the ignition switch is placed in the ON
position as long as the low tyre pressure warn-
inglight remainsilluminated.

TPMSresetting must be alsoperformed after a
tyre or awheel is replaced, or the tyres are ro-
tated.
Depending onachangeinthe outside tempera-
ture, the low tyre pressure warning light may
illuminate even if the tyre pressure has been ad-
justed properly.Adjust the tyre pressure to the
recommended COLD tyre pressure again when
the tyresare cold, and reset the TPMS.

TPMSmalfunction:
If the TPMSisnot functioning properly,the low
tyrepressurewarning lightwillflashfor approxi-
mately 1minute when the ignition switch is
placed in the ON position. The light will remain
on after 1minute. Have the system checkedby
an INFINITI Centre or qualified workshop.The
low tyre pressure warning does not appear ifthe
lowtyre pressure warning light illuminates to
indicate aTPMSmalfunction.

calequipment. Those whouseapacemakershould
contact the electric medical equipment manufac-
turer forthe possibleinfluences before use.

If the light doesnot illuminate with the ignition
switch pushed ON, have the vehicle checkedbyan
INFINITI Centre or qualified workshop as soon as
possible.
•
If the low tyre pressure warning light illuminates
whiledriving, avoid sudden steering manoeuvres
or abrupt braking,reducevehicle speed, pulloff
the roadtoasafe location and stop the vehicle as
soon aspossible. Driving with under-inflatedtyres
maypermanently damagethe tyres and increase
the likelihood of tyre failure. Seriousvehicle dam-
agecould occur and mayleadtoanaccident and
could result in serious personal injury. Checkthe
tyre pressure for allfour tyres. Adjust the tyre
pressure to the recommended COLD tyre pressure
shownonthe tyre placard, located on the driver
side centre pillar, to turn the low tyre pressure
warning light off.Ifthe light stillilluminates while
drivingafter adjusting the tyre pressure, atyre
maybeflat. If youhave aflattyre, repair it with the
emergency tyre puncture repair kit(where fitted)
or replaceitassoon as possible.

Afteradjusting the tyre pressure, be sure to reset
theTPMS. Unlessthe resetting is performed, the
TPMS will not warn of the low tyre pressure cor-
rectly.
