USING HALOGEN CONVECTION OVEN
General Instructions
• Before using the oven, check that the voltage indicated on the appliance
corresponds to the local mains. Make sure the plug is inserted into a socket with
earthing connection and the electric wire is clear from other objects.
• Make sure the oven glass is rmly supported at its base in plastic.
• If you use the cooking grill, ensure it is well positioned in the oven glass.
• Ensure that any plates or metal recipients used in the oven, are resistant to the high
temperatures reached in the oven.
Switching On/Off
• Ensure that the oven is always supported on a at and heat resistant surface.
• Select the desired cooking temperature by turning the knob clockwise (0 ° -250 ° C).
In this way we switch on the oven and the halogen lamp will remain on until it
reaches the desired temperature, and will turn off when it reaches
temperature. It will switch on again to maintain the temperature.
• Select the desired cooking time by turning the knob clockwise (0-60 minutes).
Warning: Carefully select the correct cooking time. Never turn the timer knob in the
opposite direction (counterclockwise) as this would damage the appliance. If you want
to stop cooking, turn the oven off by turning the temperature knob to OFF, pull the
plug and let the timer continues to count down.
• The halogen oven shuts down when the cooking time ends, then place the
temperature knob to OFF. The handle on the lid works as safety. Hold the handle in
the lowered position when the oven is in operation.
• When removing the lid, always use the handle after making sure that the oven is
turned off. Pay attention to the high temperature reached by the oven and the hot
vapors that escape when the lid is lifted.
Cooking Instruction
Lift the lid only from the special handle. Be very careful to lift the lid when the glass is
still very hot and the issue of hot steam coming out of the oven. For cooking times and
temperatures refer to the tips in the “Recipe Book”.
CAUTION
Never touch the surface of the halogen oven during operation. The air inside the oven
can reach 250 ° C, therefore the high temperature of the surface of the oven may cause
burns. Wait until the oven is cooled down after switching it off, before cleaning it and
putting it away.
NOTE: Always ensure that food is completely defrosted before cooking. The cooking
time varies depending on the size and weight of the food. On most foods it is shown
a table of cooking times. Since the halogen oven cooking is faster than a conventional
oven. It may need a shorter cooking time to achieve the desired results.
To check the status of cooking food, use a cooking thermometer, a fork, or cut the food with a knife.
