The Line wire is Hot. Please use a multimeter to locate it.

If wiring a 3-Way or other multi-switch setup and want to keep your existing switch, in most cases you can leave your existing
wiring the same (NOTE: If you’re replacing an old Inovelli switch or other smart switch, you will need to rewire your dumb switch.
Please check the wiring schematics below. Just make sure to put your smart switch in the gang-box that has the line in it.
