Using your cooktop

Note

After the first use, it is normal for white spots to appear on the bottom of your

pan. See Cleaning and maintenance (on page17) for more information.

Checking pan compatibility

l Hold a magnet to the bottom of your cookware. If it clings, it will usually work

with your cooktop. See Cookware compatibility (on page9) for more

information.

Using touch controls

l Touch the controls with the ball of your finger (not the tip). The controls

respond to touch so you don’t need to apply any pressure.

l Make sure that the controls are clean, dry, and uncovered.

Cooking with your cooktop

1. Read the nameplate on the back of the cooktop before connecting the power

cord.
