press / or OK/DISP to open the submenu.

Resetting settings to the factory defaults
The factory reset function resets your camera to its
factory default settings without deleting any
captured photos or videos.
To reset settings to the factory defaults:
1 Turn on your camera.
2 Slide the MODE switch to switch to Photo or
Video mode.
3 Press MENU. The on-screen menu opens.
4 Press / or / to select the (tools) tab.
The Tools menu opens.
5 Press / or /
to highlight Factory Reset.
6 Press / or OK/DISP. A confirmation message
appears.
7 Press / or /
to highlight Ye s , then press
OK/DISP.
8 Press MENU to close the menu.
Note
The factory reset function can only be accessed when
Simple mode is set to Off.
