2. Plug the power cord into a power outlet.
Note
Do not use an extension cord to connect your cooktop. If the power cord
is too short, have a qualified electrician or serviceman install an outlet
near the appliance.
3. Place a pan on the cooktop.
4. Press ON/OFF to turn on your cooktop. The cooktop beeps once.
Note
If there is no operation within 10 seconds, the cooktop turns off
automatically. If there isnt a compatible pan on the cooktop, the display
shows “U for 10 seconds to indicate a pan is required.

TEMP to enter temperature mode, then press or to select the
temperature you want:
