  Continuous steam release could be due to several reasons. The release valve might not be seated correctly. Press the Stop button, then unplug the cooker. Wait for the steam to stop, and then use oven mitts to push the valve down. Alternatively, the release valve may be damaged, or your cooker may be building up too much pressure. In these cases, press the Stop button, then unplug the power cord from the power outlet and take your cooker to a Best Buy authorized service center for repair.
