Usage Features

The USB switch is designed for straightforward use.

  1. Power Connection: Connect the USB power cable to the hub and plug it into a power outlet. This provides power to the switch and connected devices.
  2. Peripheral Device Connection: Connect your USB peripheral devices (such as flash drives, mouse, keyboard, or external hard drives) to the four downstream USB 3.0 ports on the back of the switch.
  3. Computer Connection: Connect the two upstream USB 3.0 ports to your two computers (PC1 and PC2) using the included USB 3.0 cables.

  • Troubleshooting: In case of issues, the guide advises checking FCC compliance information, which includes suggestions like reorienting antennas, increasing separation from other equipment, or consulting a technician for interference problems. While these are general FCC guidelines, they highlight the importance of proper setup and environment for optimal performance.
