    • D
      Daniel MorseAug 16, 2025
If water and steam are forcefully spitting from the spout of your InSinkErator Dispenser without the faucet being turned on, the unit may be boiling, which can be normal during the initial setup. Activate the faucet lever to release some water from the tank. You can also adjust the water temperature using the dial on the front of the tank, keeping in mind that water boils at lower temperatures at higher altitudes.

If the water from your InSinkErator Dispenser is either too hot or not hot enough, the thermostat may need adjustment. What to do if my InSinkErator Invite H770-SS is dripping intermittently?
    • C
      christopher83Aug 27, 2025
If your InSinkErator Dispenser is dripping intermittently, it could be due to a blocked spout or the expansion chamber not draining properly because of low water pressure. First, unplug the unit. If dripping persists, check the supply valve to ensure it's fully open and that there are no obstructions reducing the pressure below 30 psi. Also, unscrew the spout end piece and clean out any debris.

Why does my InSinkErator Invite H770-SS keep running after I release the lever?
    • E
      elizabeth97Sep 8, 2025
If water continues to run from your InSinkErator Dispenser after releasing the lever (models HC3/GN3/View/Wave), the mounting nut may be too tight, or the mounting washers may not be installed correctly. Try loosening the mounting nut, a 1/4 turn at a time, until shut-off occurs. Check the mounting washer installation.
