and may cause problems when filing warranty claims.
1. Unplug the unit from the wall receptacle.
Change oil with pump warm. The pump gets
hot and could cause burns. Use caution while
working around the pump.
2. Remove the two screws located on the
bottom back panel of the stainless steel
chassis. (fig. 1, pg. 37)
3. Lift the stainless steel chassis up and towards
the front of the unit. Place a pad under the
front to protect the switches. (fig. 2, pg. 37)
4. Pull the side of the unit with the oil sight glass
approximately 4” off the work surface.
5. Hold a catch pan under the hole leading to
the drain plug.
6. Unscrew the drain plug and allow the oil to
flow through the designed channel into the
catch pan
7. Reinsert the oil-drain plug and clean around
the drain area.
Never operate the unit, even for short periods
without proper level of oil.
1. Locate the oil fill port on the pump. (fig. 3, pg.
37).
2. Unscrew the fill plug. Add oil (use a funnel to
prevent spills). Add oil until the level registers
½ to ¾ full on the sight glass. Approximately ½
quart.
DO NOT OVERFILL!
3. Replace the oil fill plug. Hand-tighten only.
4. The exhaust filter should be changed when
the oil is changed, see page 38 for instructions.
