mishandling,repair,improperinstallationortesting,combinationswith
incompatibleproductsoranythirdpartyvirus,infection,wormorsimilar
maliciouscode;
• thattheProductwillprotectagainstallpossiblesecuritythreats,includ-
ingintentionalmisconductbythirdparties;
• anyProductwhichhasbeenmodiedoroperatedoutsideofIntel’s
publiclyavailablespecications,includingwhereclockfrequenciesor
voltageshavebeenaltered,orwheretheoriginalidenticationmarkings
havebeenremoved,alteredorobliterated.Intelassumesnoresponsi-
bilitythattheProduct,includingifusedwithalteredclockfrequencies
orvoltages,willbetforanyparticularpurposeandwillnotcauseany
damageorinjury.
HOW TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE
YoumaycontactyourplaceofpurchaseoryoumaycontactIntelbycalling
anIntelCustomerSupport(ICS)centerduringbusinesshours.Youwillbe
askedfor(1)yourcontactdetails;(2)proofofpurchase;(3)modelname
andProductidenticationnumber;(4)anexplanationoftheproblemand
(5)moreinformationifnecessary.IfICSconrmsthattheProductiseligible
forwarrantyservice,youwillreceiveaReturnMaterialAuthorization(RMA)
numberandinstructionsforreturningtheProduct.
Intelwillshiptoyou,atitsexpense,therepairedorreplacedProductwithin
areasonableperioduponreceiptofthereturnedProduct.Thereplacement
productwillbewarrantedunderthetermscontainedinthisLimitedWar-
ranty,includingitsexclusions,exceptthatthetermofthewarrantywillbe
whicheverofthefollowingtwoperiodsislonger:(1)90days,beginningon
thedateofshipmentoftherepairedorreplacedProducttoyou,or(2)the
remainderofthewarrantyperiodforthereturnedProductplusanadditional
periodequaltothenumberofdaysbetweenwhenyounotifyICSofthe
needforwarrantyserviceandwhenyoureceivedtherepairedorreplaced
Product.
