Condition Description
Under Voltage If line voltage falls below the accepted level, the relay output will open un-
til the line voltage returns to the accepted level. Voltage Drop Protection
conditions comply with AHRI standard 110-2016 Range B. For Voltage
conditions that drop below outside the limits of Range B prompt correc-
tive action is recommended
• 120 VAC Nominal – Range B 104 VAC
• 208 VAC Nominal – Range B 180 VAC
• 240 VAC Nominal – Range B 208 VAC
Short Cycle Delay Once the line voltage exceeds the pick-up line voltage, the relay will close
after the time delay elapses. Delay = 3 Minutes (non-adjustable).
Normally Closed Operation If surge or voltage monitoring protection is lost, the unit will continue nor-
mal compressor and thermostat operation without surge protection. The
unit should be replaced to restore surge protection to the circuit.

3-Year Product Warranty
The Compressor Defender™ will be free from defects in material and workmanship for 3 years from date
of purchase or 39 months from date of manufacture.
$7500.00 Connected Equipment Warranty
If your compressor becomes damaged while using the Compressor Defender™, please follow the claim
process below:
1) Process an insurance claim with your homeowner’s insurance policy.
2) Send the Compressor Defender™ back to lntermatic for evaluation and testing to:
lntermatic Warranty Coordinator, 7777 Winn Road, Spring Grove, IL 60081
3) Upon receipt of the damaged Compressor Defender™, lntermatic will investigate whether the
Compressor Defender™ had a defect in material or workmanship that led to the damage to your
equipment. If the ndings determine there was a defect in material or workmanship, lntermatic
will cover any costs beyond your homeowner’s coverage up to $7500.00.
