Intermec CK32 Supplementary Guide

The following additional warnings and cautions must be observed for the safety of the operator and others in potentially hazardous locations:
• This computer must be used only when the ambient temperature is between -20°C to 50°C (-4°F to 122°F).
• Only use Intermec battery pack Model AB6 (P/N 318-021-xxx).
• The AB6 battery has been evaluated as Intrinsically Safe but the battery should only be changed while in Class II (gas/vapor/mist) or
non-hazardous locations.
• The CK32IS may only be used with the Handstrap (P/N 825-183-xxx), Handle (P/N 714-625-xxx), or Carrying Strap Kit
(P/N 825-186-xxx) while in potentially hazardous locations.
• The AB6 battery pack must only be recharged using Intermec Model AC11 Quad Battery Charger (P/N 852-914-xxx). Battery charging
should only take place in locations known to be non-hazardous.
• Cleaning of the CK32IS or scan handle must only be done using a mild soap, water, and a soft cloth.
Special Conditions of Safe Use
The CK32IS must not be used in the presence of Conductive Dusts.
Linear Imager Compliance and Precaution
This product complies with the following standards for LED safety:
IEC 60825-1 / EN 60825-1 - Class 1 LED Product.
