What Is the RFID Kit?
The RFID kit provides RFID functionality for the EasyCoder
®
PX4i and PX6i printers. With this kit installed, the PX4i or PX6i
printer can read and write to RFID tags.
These instructions describe how to install these RFID kits:
• PX4i 915 MHz RFID Kit (P/N 270-153-001)
• PX4i 869 MHz RFID Kit (P/N 270-155-001)
• PX6i 915 MHz RFID Kit (P/N 270-154-001)
• PX6i 869 MHz RFID Kit (P/N 270-156-001)

What You Get
• One of these I/O interface boards:
• I/O interface board with IM4 869 MHz radio module
• I/O interface board with IM4 915 MHz radio module
• One of these lower media guides:
• PX4i lower media guide with RFID antenna
• PX6i lower media guide with RFID antenna
• Dual slot I/O cable
• M3x5 screw (2)
• M4x5 screw
• Spacer screw
What You Need
• A PX4i or PX6i printer running Fingerprint v8.76.0 or later
or IPL v2.76.0 or later. You can download the latest version of
firmware from the Intermec web site at www.intermec.com.
• A #T10 and a #T20 Torx screwdriver.
• A slotted screwdriver.
