What to do if O below normal (YELLOW) light stays on Invacare Air Compressor?

  First, make sure the concentrator has warmed up for at least 20 minutes. If it hasn't, turn the compressor off until it warms up. If the yellow light is still on, inspect the connection between the compressor and the concentrator for any damage or pinching. If damaged, replace it. If pinched, straighten the tubing. Turn the compressor off for at least 10 seconds, then turn it back on. If the yellow light remains on after 10 minutes, the concentrator may need service.

  First, ensure the cylinder regulator is set to Off. Next, check the recommended fill times in the cylinder’s manual. Then, make sure the cylinder is properly connected by turning the compressor off, removing and reinstalling the cylinder, and turning the compressor back on. Also, inspect the compressor/concentrator line for proper connection and any damage like leaks or kinks. Finally, verify the concentrator liter flow setting is at three L/min or less, adjusting if needed. If the green filling light remains on, the compressor or concentrator may need service.

  First, check the cylinder gauge to see if it is full. If the cylinder is full, remove it and turn the unit off. Then, perform the Cylinder Prefill Inspection with a cylinder that is not full. If the cylinder is not full, ensure that the cylinder is connected properly. Turn the compressor off, remove the cylinder, and reinstall it. Then, turn the compressor back on. If the cylinder is not full and is connected properly, the compressor may have an internal failure.

  Check that the concentrator liter flow setting is at 3 L/min or less. If it’s higher, adjust the liter flow setting and wait at least 20 minutes for the green light to appear. If the green light does not appear after adjusting the flow, the concentrator may need service.
