    What to do if USB devices are not responding on IOGear Switch?

      If your USB devices aren't responding when connected to the IOGear Switch, first try unplugging the USB cable from the port on the GCS1953's rear panel and then plugging it back in to reset the connection. Also, the GCS1953 has a built-in USB 3.0 hub and won't support PCs or OS that don't support USB 2.0/3.0. For an OS that does not support USB 2.0, keyboard and mouse functions can be reset using the [F1] Hotkey function.

      If your mouse and/or keyboard are not responding with the IOGear Switch, it could be due to an improper reset. Try unplugging the cable(s) from the console port(s) and then plugging them back in. It may also be that the GCS1953 needs to be reset. To do this, power off all devices, including the GCS1953, wait five seconds, and then power everything back on.

      If Windows doesn't recognize the device connected through your IOGear Switch, it might be due to a timing problem. First, unplug the KVM cable from the computer’s USB port. Next, go into Windows’ System Settings and remove the Unknown Device entry. Finally, plug the KVM cable back in. Windows should now recognize the device.

    Why front panel Pushbutton Combo key doesn’t work after its set on IOGear Switch?

      The [X] [Enter], [R] [Enter] and [upgrade] [Enter] Hotkeys can not be set as a front panel pushbutton combo key. Select a different Hotkey to use.
