If the IPOTOOLS Welding System shows no welding current while the wire feed operates normally, the issue may stem from several causes. The main contactor could be defective, requiring a check and possible replacement. Alternatively, the step switch might be malfunctioning, necessitating a measurement of its function. A loose ground cable or hose package connection could also be the culprit; inspect the ground cable, hose package connection, and pliers for proper contact. Lastly, the overload protection might be activated, in which case, allow approximately 10-20 minutes for cooling with the fan motor running.
