What to do if the IR Energy EvenTube ETS burner does not stay lit?
    • R
      richard84Aug 3, 2025
If the burner does not stay lit, check the ground wire continuity and the insulation on the igniter leads. Measure the flame signal current; it should be between 2 to 6 micro amps dc, with a minimum of 0.8 micro amps. If needed, clean the flame rod or replace the module.

What to do if the IR Energy EvenTube ETS Heater burner does not light?
    • G
      gaymadelineAug 11, 2025
If the burner does not light, check if a spark is visible through the site glass during ignition. If not, further electrical checks by a qualified service person are required. Also, check to see if gas lines were properly purged of air. Check inlet and outlet gas pressure during ignition and verify proper orifice and air plate.

Why is there no gas supply to my IR Energy Heater?
    • S
      sreedAug 17, 2025
If there's no gas supply, first check if the manual supply valve to the heater is ON, and then check if the gas valve knob on the heater gas control is also ON. You can check the supply gas pressure at the 1/8" NPT pressure tap in the gas supply system. Also, if gas pressure downstream of gas control can be measured, no manifold pressure indicates valve is closed. If the valve is closed, either the gas valve or the ignition module is faulty.

How to fix an IR Energy Heater blower motor that fails to run?
    • L
      Lori MyersAug 26, 2025
First, ensure the heater is plugged in and that there is 115V at the burner receptacle. Next, check the blower for any obstructions. If there are no obstructions and the blower still doesn't run, it may need to be replaced.
