  If your Ironton Water Pump isn't starting, here are a few things to check: * Make sure the cord is fully plugged in. * Check the power at the outlet. If there's no power, turn off the pump and check the circuit breaker. Ensure the circuit's capacity is right for the pump and that there are no other loads on the circuit. Then, reset the breaker. * Inspect the plug for corrosion and clean the prongs if needed. * The motor might be overheated. Unplug the power and wait 10-30 minutes for it to cool down before plugging it back in and restarting the pump.
