The numbered label on the coffee container (14) refers to the different degrees of grin-
ding. 0 is the finest, 10 is the coarsest
The coffee grinder is set for optimum grinding which is level 3 on the label. For various
reasons, the type of coffee, moisture… it may be necessary to change the setting
! do not change the setting on the coffee grinder while it is in use
if you want to change the grinding setting, hold the ratchet down (17) and turn
the coffee container (14) until you have the desired grinding. For coarser coffee
turn the coffee container (14) counter-clockwise , and for finer grinding turn it
clockwise
release the ratchet (17) to lock the setting
use the filter holder (8) with the 1 cup filter for one cup of coffee, and the two
cup filter for two cups of coffee at the same time
rest the filter holder (8) on the micro-switch of the coffee grinder (15), with the
aidof the filter holder pins (16), to grind the coffee
detach the filter holder (8) from the micro-switch (15) when you have enough
coffee
press the freshly ground coffee slightly with the presser supplied
4.3 Distribution of hot water
! Make sure the tank is always full of water
make sure the machine is pressurized (see paragraph 4.1)
fill the filter holder (8), with the one cup filter for one cup only or with the two cup
filter for two cups at the same time, and press the coffee slightly with the special
presser
fit the filter holder (8) in the coffee distribution unit (7) and twist from left to right
to block it
place one or two cups on the cup rack (12) under the filter holder (8)
press the coffee switch (3). Coffee will come out of the bottom of the filter
holder (8)
press the coffee switch again (3) when you have enough coffee desiderata
if you want to make more coffee remove the filter holder (8) by turning it from
right to left and empty out the used grounds. Repeat the above operations
4.4 Distribution of steam
! Always make sure the tank is full of water
! never place your hands or other parts of the body in the path of the
water/steam nozzle. Hot water and steam can cause serious burns
make sure the machine is pressurized (see paragraph 4.1)
place a container under the steam/ hot water nozzle (11)
turn the steam/hot water tap knob (10) counter-clockwise
press the coffee switch (3). Hot water at about 95°C will come out of the bottom
of the steam/hot water nozzle (11)
turn the steam/hot water nozzle (10) clockwise
