The ISOtunes ULTRACOMM AWARE are hearing protection earbuds with Bluetooth connectivity, designed for use in loud environments while allowing for communication and awareness of surroundings.

Function Description:

These earbuds provide hearing protection by amplifying ambient sounds when safe, and shutting off amplification during harmful impacts or continuous noise. They feature "Aware Technology" with four adjustable levels (High, Medium, Low, Off) to control the amplification of outside noises. This technology allows users to hear their surroundings while still being protected from loud sounds. When a phone call is taken or the earbuds are connected to a communication device, Aware Technology™ turns off to ensure clear digital communication via the earbud. The device includes an optional boom mic for crystal clear calls, even in noisy environments. The boom mic's arrow on the audio jack should be aligned with the arrow on the earbud when inserting, and the microphone end should face the user's mouth for optimal performance. During phone calls with the boom mic plugged in, Aware Technology™ is automatically disabled.

Important Technical Specifications:

• Battery Life: Up to 8 hours of battery life per charge, with an additional 3 full charges provided by the charging case, totaling up to 32 hours of use.
• Charging: The earbuds charge in the case (indicated by a solid red light) and the case itself charges via a USB-C cable. The charging voltage should not exceed 5V.

Usage Features:

• Power On/Off:
  • Method One: Open the charging case to power on; place earbuds in the case and close the lid to power off.
  • Method Two: In OFF mode, press and hold the multi-function button (MFB) for 3 seconds to power on; in ON mode, press and hold the MFB for 3 seconds to power off.
• Bluetooth Pairing: After powering on, the earbuds automatically enter Bluetooth Pairing Mode (indicated by quick red and blue flashes). Users can then search for "ISOtunes ULTRACOMM Aware" in their device's Bluetooth settings, pair, and connect. A "Bluetooth Connected" voice prompt confirms successful pairing.
• User Controls (Left Earbud):
  • Aware Technology: Tap 1x to increase volume, Tap 2x to decrease volume. A single beep indicates a level change, while a double beep signifies reaching the highest or lowest Aware level.
• User Controls (Right Earbud):
  • Music: Tap 1x to increase volume, Tap 2x to decrease volume, Tap 1x to play/pause, Tap 2x to skip track, Tap 3x to go back track.
  • Phone Call: Tap 1x to answer, Tap 1x to mute, Hold 2 seconds to end.
  • Voice Assistant: Hold 2 seconds for assistance (Siri / Google Assistant).
• Bluetooth Volume: Entertainment volume is controlled via the connected device's button controls.
• Fitting:
  1. Carefully roll the foam eartip on the stem/sound port.
  2. Insert the eartip into the ear as deeply and comfortably as possible.
  3. Slightly rotate the earbud until it is secure in the bowl of the ear.
  4. Ensure the earbud rests tightly next to the inner ear edge.
  5. Gently wrap the comfort-fit earhooks around the top and back of the ears.

Maintenance Features:

• Cleaning:
  • Gently wipe the earbuds with a clean, damp cloth and mild soap.
  • Do not immerse the earbuds in water.
  • Avoid abrasive cleaning solvents.
  • If earbuds get wet from sweat or rain, discontinue use and allow them to dry completely.
• Eartips: Regularly inspect eartips for deterioration, cracking, or other damage. Eartips are disposable and should be replaced every 1-3 months or when damaged. Additional eartips are available at ISOtunes.com.
• Factory Reset: Recommended for issues with powering off, pairing, or multi-function button functionality.
  1. Remove "ISOtunes ULTRACOMM Aware" from your smartphone's paired Bluetooth devices.
  2. With the case open and both earbuds inside, press and hold the button on the back of the case for ten seconds.
  3. LED lights on the earbuds will quickly flash blue and red, indicating a successful pairing reset.
  4. Follow Bluetooth pairing instructions to re-pair the device.
