AWAY FROM THE NOZZLE TESTER AT ALL TIMES.
Spray Condition Check (During Injection Nozzle Tester
Operation)
1. Tighten the cap nut.
2. Check the injection nozzle starting pressure.
3. Check the injection nozzle spray condition.
Operate the injection nozzle tester hand lever 4 to 6
times a second while looking for abnormal injection
nozzle spray conditions.
Refer to the illustration for different spray conditions.
(1) Good
(2) Bad (Restrictions in orifice)
(3) Bad (Dripping)

Feed Pump Strainer
1. Remove the joint bolt.
2. Use a screwdriver to remove the strainer.
3, Wash the strainer in clean diesel fuel.
