ACTIVATING IVEE
To operate ivee, you must first activate her either by touch or by voice.
ACTIVATION BY VOICE
To activate ivee by voice, first make sure the IVR
/
Touch switch on the back
of the unit is set to IVR. When set to IVR, ivee will constantly listen for the trigger
words "Hello
ivee" (pronounced "ivy"). When ivee hears the trigger words,
she will ask you for a command.
You can disable the hands free trigger operation by setting the IVR
/
Touch
switch to Touch.
ivee will no longer listen for the trigger words "Hello ivee."
Instead, you will need to activate ivee by touch.
ACTIVATION BY TOUCH
To activate ivee by touch, press down firmly on the top of the LCD screen
(where SNOOZE is printed).
ivee will then ask you for a command.
