• If the glass tray is hot, allow it to cool down before cleaning or placing into water.
• Do not use any other tray with this oven apart from the one supplied with the oven.
• The roller ring and oven cavity floor should be cleaned regularly to avoid excessive noise.
Simple wipe the bottom surface of the oven with mild detergent, water or window cleaner and
dry. The roller ring may be washed in mild sudsy water or dish washer.
• Cooking vapours collect during repeated use but in on way affect the bottom surface or
roller ring wheels. When removing the roller ring from the cavity floor for cleaning make sure to
replace it in the proper position.
• Remove odours from your oven by combining a cup of water with the juice and skin of one
lemon in a deep microwaveable bowl. Microwave for 5 minutes, wipe thoroughly and dry with a
soft cloth.
• Although your oven is provided with safety features, it is important to observe the
following:
1. It is important not to defeat or tamper with safety interlocks.
2. Do not place any object between the oven front face and the door or allow residue to
accumulate on sealing surfaces. Wipe the sealing area frequently with a mild detergent, rinse
and wipe dry. Never use abrasive powders and pads.
3. When opened, the door must not be subjected to strain, for example, a child hanging on
an opened door or any load could cause the oven to fall forward to cause injury and also
damage the door. Do not operate the oven if it is damaged, and contact an authorized
BENRUBI Service Center.
• It is particularly important that the oven closes properly and that there is no damage to the:
a. Door (eg. bent)
b. Hinges and hooks (broken or loosened)
c. Door seals and sealing surfaces.
• The oven should not be adjusted or repaired by anyone except a properly trained
technician from the BENRUBI Service Centers.
Before you call for Service
The oven does not work:
1. Check to ensure that the oven is plugged securely. If it is not, remove the plug from the
outlet, wait for 10 seconds and plug it again securely.
2. Check to make sure that the door is securely closed to engage the safety locks.
Otherwise, the microwave energy will not flow into the oven.
3. Check whether the timer is set.
4. Check the premises for a blown circuit fuse or a tripped main circuit breaker. If these
seem to be operating properly test the outlet with another appliance.
