A dirty filter or clogged pump strainer basket can also prevent the heater from lighting, so clean both. Check that the thermostat is turned on and that the set temperature is higher than the water temperature. If the water is too hot and a fault condition is displayed, or if the heater is in a fault condition, refer to the fault indication table. Finally, ensure the gas is turned on.
