operation (setting the reference time on
the small dial):
Pull Crown A (at 3 o’clock) out to position 1.
Turn the crown in either direction to move the
hour hand of the favoured time zone, together
with the 24-hour ring.
Adjust the hour in the small dial in order to
obtain the same time as the main time and to
display this hour opposite the triangular marker
at 6 o’clock, taking into account whether it is
day or night.
Push the crown back in to position 0.
The displays of the main dial and the small dial
are now synchronised: the central hands, the
small dial and the selected city opposite the
triangular marker at 6 o’clock now indicate the
same time.
Once this pre-setting is completed:
- The 24-hour ring will turn in unison with the
main time (local), but will go round the dial
once in 24 hours. The time in each city will
be updated in accordance with the local time
and the favoured time zone.
