- You can thus read the time in any of the cities
indicated on the city disc by reading the hour
opposite the relevant city on the 24-hour ring,
with the minutes indicated on the main dial.
Note: Regions where the official time differs by
a fraction of an hour (India, Iran, Nepal) are not
included in the city disc.
Changing the favoured time zone
Note: first make sure that the synchronisation
crown (Crown A at 3 o’clock) has been pushed
back into position 0 (not pulled out). Failure
to follow this instruction could damage the
mechanism.
Turn Crown B (without pulling it) in either
direction in order to position the new city chosen
as the favoured time zone at 6 o’clock, opposite
the triangular marker. The time in the selected
time zone is automatically displayed in the small
dial and, thanks to the hour indicated on the
24-hour ring opposite the relevant city, you can
determine whether it is morning or afternoon.
