Bunk Beds (if so equipped)
Your recreational vehicle may be equipped with bunk style beds. Bunk bed weight ratings
will vary depending on the style of bunk bed. Refer to the warnings for bunk beds below.
Bunk Bed Ladder (if so equipped)
Your recreational vehicle may be equipped with a ladder to access the upper bunk. This lad-
der may be a separate steel ladder, or a wooden ladder attached to the bunk beds.
On certain models, the bed platform may be equipped with gas struts to assist with easy ac-
cess to storage area.
Grasp the end ledge at the foot of the bed and lift carefully.
Two gas struts will hold the bed platform open allowing access to the storage area.
To close, carefully push down on the bed, slowly easing it to the closed position.
Follow all precautions listed above when opening/closing the platform.
Heated Bed Mats (if so equipped)
The heated bed mats are manufactured to reach gentle, soothing heat warmth, NOT the pain
relieving heat of a heating pad. At rst touch it may seem only slightly warm because it is
conserving energy. As your body weight presses onto the bedding, and a blanket covers you,
it will feel considerably warmer and comfortable.
Ensure the heated bed mats are on the bed board so the label and connector point
up.
The cord should be at the head of the bed.
Do not tuck in the wired area of the heated bed mats.
Let the cord hang free. Do not route electrical cords between the heated bed mats
and the bed boards. Do not allow the cords to be pinched. NEVER pull a heated
bed mat by its cord.
Keep the heated bed mat control away from an open window.
Do not use pins or any heavy, sharp pointed objects on the heated bed mats. They
may damage the heating elements.
Be sure the heated bed mats are used on a 120 volt AC circuit.
Turn o the electric current when this bedding is not in actual use.
Unplug the bed mats rst. Wipe gently or blot the soiled area, using a damp cloth treated
with a mild detergent. DO NOT IMMERSE the heated bed mats; allow them to dry thor-
oughly before plugging them in for use.
Be sure to read all instructions carefully before using the heated bed
mats.
Do not use dry cleaning uid on the heated bed mats. Cleaning solvents
may have a deteriorating eect on the insulation of the heating element.
