Operation
The quickhitch latch system is operated by springs
and a double acting hydraulic ram. Spring pressure
ensures that the latch defaults to the locked position.
A remote solenoid control valve is energised by the
electronic control system when the quickhitch is set
to unlock. The lock ram operates against the spring
force and moves the latch to the unlocked position.
The operation of the latch control system is by
means of the quickhitch switches in the rotary control
module in the right side console. Refer to: PIL
