Why does my Jet MT Lifting Systems hoist move in the wrong direction?
    • D
      Daniel RoyJul 28, 2025
If the Jet Lifting Systems hoist moves in the wrong direction, it could be due to two of the three power supply wires being switched. To resolve this, switch any two of the three supply wires. Another cause may be improper connections with the hoist, specifically the #2 white wire connected to the orange instead of the grey wire. In this case, review the instructions and rewire the connections.

Why is the motor on my Jet Lifting Systems overheating?
    • L
      Lisa StevensAug 4, 2025
If the motor of your Jet Lifting Systems overheats, it could be due to several reasons. You might be using excessive load or operating it too frequently, so ensure you operate within the rated load and according to the duty cycle rating. Low voltage can also cause overheating; have a certified electrician check the incoming power, as voltage outside +/-10% of the rated power can lead to issues. A dragging brake can also cause overheating, so have the brake repaired or replaced by a qualified service technician. Finally, if the ambient temperature is too high, reduce operating times and shield the trolley from excessive heat.

Why does my Jet Lifting Systems trolley continue moving after applying the brake?
    • J
      Jason MatthewsAug 15, 2025
If the trolley of your Jet Lifting Systems continues movement after the brake is applied, it could be due to grease or oil on the brake lining. Disassemble the brake and clean the lining to resolve this. Alternatively, the brake pad might be worn or damaged, in which case you should replace the brake pad.

What to do if my Jet MT Lifting Systems trolley will not operate?
    • K
      Katherine RoblesNov 8, 2025
If the trolley of your Jet Lifting Systems will not operate, or operates intermittently, there are several potential causes. First, check the trolley connections to the power source to ensure there is incoming power and that the power source matches the specifications on the trolley nameplate. If there is low voltage, have a certified electrician check the incoming power, as voltage that falls outside of +/-10% of rated power can cause improper operation and potential motor damage. Also, check the fuse and circuit breaker. Improper connections between the trolley and the TS model JET hoist can also be a factor, so inspect the wiring connections and review the instructions. Damaged conductors in the pendant cord can also cause this issue, so check for continuity in each conductor and replac...
