Remedy
Trolley will not
operate, or operates
intermittently.
No incoming power, or low voltage.
Check trolley connections to power
source. Make sure power source
matches specifications on trolley name
plate. If low voltage, have certified
electrician check incoming power.
Voltage that falls outside of +/-10% of
rated power will result in improper
operation and potential motor damage.
Fuse blown or circuit breaker tripped.
Replace fuse/reset circuit breaker.
Improper connections between trolley
and TS model JET hoist.
Inspect wiring connections; review
instructions.
Conductors in pendant cord damaged.
Check for continuity in each conductor.
If faulty, replace entire pendant cord.
Motor damaged.
Have motor inspected and repaired/
replaced by a qualified service
technician.
Trolley performs
slugglishly
Rail/beam is dirty or worn.
Clean rail as part of regular inspection
process.
Trolley continues
movement after brake
applied.
Grease or oil on the brake lining.
Disassemble brake and clean the lining.
Brake pad is worn or damaged.
Replace brake pad.
Hoist moves in wrong
direction.
Two of the three power supply wires are
switched.
Switch any two of the three supply
wires.
Improper connections with hoist. (#2
white wire connected to orange instead
of grey wire.)
Review instructions and rewire.
Motor overheats.
Excessive load or too frequent use.
Operate within rated load and according
to duty cycle rating.
Low voltage.
Have certified electrician check
incoming power. Voltage that falls
outside of +/-10% of rated power will
result in improper operation and
potential motor damage.
Brake is dragging.
Have brake repaired or replaced by a
qualified service technician.
Ambient temperature exceeds normal
range.
Reduce operating times of the trolley.
Use measures to help shield the trolley
from excessive ambient heat.
