NOTE: it is not possible to activate the “SLEEP” mode when the unit works in “DEHUM-
FICATION” or “VENTILATION”.

SAFETY PROTECTIONS
Full water safety alarm and shutdown protection function
When the water volume exceeds the alarm level in the appliance, the warning sounds
automatically and the “WATER FULL” icon lights up on the LCD display.
It is necessary to drain the condensate and restart the unit (for more information on how
to drain the water, refer to the relevant instructions).
Frost protection function
In COOLING mode, when the compressor runs continuously for more than 10 minutes,
and the probe detects that the pipe temperature is ≤2 ° C / 36ºF, the freeze protection
function will automatically be activated. The message E4 will appear on the LCD display
for about 20 seconds, the compressor will stop working, while the fan will remain on.
When the probe returns to reveal that the pipe temperature is ≥8 ºC / 46 ºF, the unit will
interrupt the anti-freeze protection and return to its original working conditions. The
compressor will restart with a 3 minute delay for protection.
Compressor delayed protection function
To increase the life of the compressor, it will start with a 3 minute delay after it has
been shut down.
Automatic defrost
The product is equipped with the automatic defrost function. This function is obtained
by reversing the flow of the refrigerant in the 4-way valve.
Self-diagnosing Pipe Temperature and Ambient Temperature Sensors
Automatic sensor control during ignition and during operation. When the sensors fail to
detect the room temperature, the device will turn off and will show Error E1
on the di-
splay; when the temperature of the tube is not detected, the device will turn off and will
show Error E2 on the display. If the sensors detect temperatures correctly, the device
will return to work and go into standby mode.
