6. Troubleshooting and
FAQ
6.1 Troubleshooting
This page describes the issues that
users can solve. If trying these
solutions does not resolve the issue,
please contact JOLED service center.
General issues for monitor
No signal (LED does not light
Make sure the power cord is
connected to the power outlet and
the back of the monitor.
Press the power switch.
No signal (LED light
Make sure your PC is turned on.
Make sure the cable is properly
connected to the PC.
Make sure there are no bent pins on
the connecting side of the cable. If
so, repair or replace the cable.
Make sure that the energy saving
function of the PC is disabled.
If you see smoke or sparks
Do not follow the troubleshooting
steps.
For safety reasons, unplug the
monitor from the mains
immediately.
Contact JOLED service center
immediately.
Image issues
Image shakes
Make sure the signal cable is
properly connected to the graphics
board or PC.
The image is blurry, unclear, too dark
Adjust contrast and brightness on
the On Screen Display.
Image sticking (residual image)
remains even when the power is
turned off.
Avoid displaying the same video for
a long time.
Turn off the menu bar and taskbar.
Take advantage of screen savers.
If the OLED monitor displays the
same still image for a long time,
always perform periodic screen
updates.
The image looks distorted or the text
appears blurry.
Set the display resolution of your
PC, to the same mode as the
monitor's recommended resolution.
