Assembling the cutting equipment
Fitting the trimmer guard and trimmer
head
• Attach the cord cutter (A) to the trimmer guard using two
M5x16 screws, locking washers and nuts as shown.
• Fit the guard (B) to the gear housing (C) using the support
plate (D) and two screws.
• Turn the output shaft until one of the holes in the drive disk
aligns with the corresponding hole in the gear housing.
• Insert the locking pin (E) in the hole to lock the shaft.
• Screw on the trimmer head (F) in the opposite direction to
the direction of rotation.
• Remove the locking pin.

without an approved guard. See the chapter
on Technical data. If an incorrect or faulty
guard is fitted this can cause serious
personal injury.
