  If your JOOLCA Water Heater doesn't light, start by ensuring you've installed new batteries correctly, referring to the battery case cap for guidance. Check for a minimum sustained water pressure of 25 kPa to activate the burners. Inspect the water inlet filter screen for epoxy or debris; flush the system by reversing the water hookup if needed. If the gas cylinder might be contaminated by air, try turning the unit on and off repeatedly to clear the gas lines. Lastly, make sure the shower flow water regulator is fully open.

  If water flows through your JOOLCA Water Heater but isn't hot, first, ensure that new batteries are correctly installed in the ignition switch, paying attention to the polarity. Next, verify the water pressure is at least 25 kPa to activate the burners. Confirm the Liquid Propane regulator is fully threaded and the propane bottle has sufficient gas. Also, check that the incoming and outgoing water supplies are correctly connected, with the showerhead on the water outlet and the water inlet on the incoming connection.

  If your JOOLCA Water Heater starts briefly and then shuts off, check your gas cylinder to ensure it's not empty. If using a new cylinder, cycle the unit on and off using the showerhead switch to purge air from the gas lines. Avoid exposing the water heater to strong winds. Confirm your water pressure is at least 25 kPa, as the unit requires this minimum to remain ignited.

  If the water from your JOOLCA Water Heater isn't hot enough, adjust the gas and water regulators to your desired temperature, increasing gas and decreasing water flow. If the source water is too cold, ‘cycle’ the water through the system back into the source reservoir. If you see a yellow flame, this could indicate a gas regulator breakdown; in this case, please call Joolca Customer Service directly and do not attempt to use the appliance.
