ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS JK270
TOOLS REQUIRED: One knife to open packaging | Two ½” wrench or socket (metric 13) | One 9/16’ wrench or socket
(metric 14) | One #2 Philips (+) screwdriver NOTE: All bolts are 9/16” (metric 14) and nuts are ½” (metric 13)
We highly recommend 2 people work together to assemble. Also, we suggest placing
on soft surface when laying out and assembling: ie cardboard or a blanket.
 











 



 




Summary

Initial Frame Assembly

Positioning the Base

Place cross brace #4 on ground and attach V-shaped stand pieces with rods and nuts.

Adding Lower Tubes

Slide black tubes #10, #12, #8, and #11 over steel pipes and rods.

Adding Insulation and Middle Sections

Install Octagonal Insulation

Slide octagonal foam pieces #9 and #14, and plastic pieces #13 onto tubes.

Secure Frame and Panels

Attach cross brace #4, X brace #5, and secure panels with screws #15, washers #17, and bolts #16.

Attaching Side Panels and Doors

Install Side Sections with Doors

Attach side section #20 with doors using screws #22.

Add Second Panel and Locks

Attach second panel #21 and adjust locks for doors.

Completing the Tumbler

Attach Remaining Panels

Add panels #19 (with handle) and #18 (no handle) until all are attached.

Final Checks and Readiness

Stand up unit, check all fasteners, and confirm readiness for composting.
