8. Connect the power cable briey (three seconds) to make sure that the magnetic rotor (8) is
moving freely. Some noise will be heard during this dry running. This is not a fault. When the
fountain pump is subsequently put into use in the water, it will be silent.
Winter storage
Place the fountain pump in a container lled with water in a frostproof room. Storing the pump in water
prevents deposits from accumulating. If the pump is stored in a dry place, it can lead to deposits blocking
the rotor.
