SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read the operating instructions carefully before use!
Please retain for future reference.
Work area
Keep the work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
Do not operate power tools in explosive environments, e.g. in the presence of
ammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools create sparks which can ignite dust or
fumes.
Keep children and bystanders at a safe distance while operating a power tool.
Distractions can cause users to lose control of the tool.
The hot knife is only intended for household use and must only be operated indoors.
Electrical safety
The power tool plug must t the power outlet. Never modify the plug in any way.
Do not use any adapter plugs with earthed (grounded) power tools. Unmodied
plugs and matching outlets will reduce risk of electrocution.
Avoid body contact with earthed surfaces such as pipes, radiators, cookers and
refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electrocution if your body is earthed or
grounded.
Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a power tool
will increase the risk of electrocution.
Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging the
power tool. Ensure that the power cord is protected from heat and that it does not
come into contact with oil, sharp edges or the tool’s moving parts. Damaged or
entangled cords increase the risk of electrocution.
When operating the power tool outdoors, only use an extension cord approved for
outdoor use. Using a cord suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of electrocution.
Always use the power tool with an RCD (Residual Current Device).
If operating a power tool in a damp location is unavoidable, use a power supply
that is protected with a residual current device (RCD). Using an RCD reduces the risk
of electrocution.
