OPERATION
1. Connect the plug to an earthed socket with the correct voltage.
2. Turn the temperature knob (C) to the desired temperature.
– Position 1 = 120°C
– Position 2 = 220°C
– Position 3 = 330°C
– Position 4 = 400°C
– Position 5 = 450°C
3. Press the power switch (C) to heat the cutting blade (A). The blade is heated to the set
temperature (may take a few minutes), after which the temperature is constantly maintained.
The power indicator (B) comes on when the hot knife is started and remains on until the knife is
turned o.
4. Once the cutting blade (A) has reached the set temperature, its sharp edge may be used to cut
lines, or the side of the blade may be used to make a wide cut.
5. It takes several minutes for the blade (A) to cool after the hot knife has been turned o. Take care
whilst the blade is still hot.
6. Disconnect the plug from the socket.
7. Once the hot knife has cooled, it should be stored in a clean, dry and secure place out of the reach
of children and unauthorised users.
