      If your Jungheinrich Forklifts truck doesn't start, try the following: Check the battery connector and connect it if it’s disconnected. Ensure the safety gates are closed. Unlock the EMERGENCY DISCONNECT. Set the key switch to “I”. Check the battery charge and charge it if necessary. Press the foot switch. Check the fuses. Press the travel cutout override switch (charge battery). Set the foot switch or travel control knob to neutral and press it again. For the slack chain safety device override, consult Chapter E.
